Hapony VR

Hapony is a virtual and mixed reality software platform, built for daily use across remote business teams, educational organisations and personal communications.

Easily accessible using the latest wearable headset technology or via your laptop and mobile, Hapony is the immersive alternative for remote communications, events, product demonstrations, education and any form of collaborative experience.

I was asked to help create a concept for their UI focused on specific work tasks that could then be built upon.

This included dashboard design, story building sequences and both 2D and 3D interactive experiences.

Work better through immersive storytelling
One of the main features of Hapony is being able to create multi-room story telling immaersive VR experiences.

In the back end a user is able to create multiple spaces that attendees can access by completing specific tasks. The user can configure what is in each space and the conditions that must be met to enter each stage.

I designed an easy drag adn drop UI that users could customise and edit froma. suite of premade tempaltes.
Customise your own spaces to suit your needs
Once spaces have been chosen users can edit the content of these rooms depoending on what they wish attendees to acheive.

They can add a series of useful tools including multimedia, 3D models, Interactive elements such as polls, seating and lighting.
Customise in VR not just on a browser
A important element of this project was to consider how a user can customise and edit a space while using a VR headset.

I therefore had to create a secondary UI that would work on headsets, while maintaining the same feel and experience that is reflected on web browser.
Discover a new way of working together
Once in a space users can modify how they appear to other attendees. From using a webcam or a digital avatar.
